It’s Okay to Not Be Okay…

Lately, the term Well-being has been all around us, but what is Wellbeing?

Feelings of wellbeing are fundamental to the overall health of an individual, enabling them to successfully overcome difficulties and achieve what they want out of life. Past experiences, attitudes and outlook can all impact wellbeing as can physical or emotional trauma following specific incidents.

Since its creation by pianist, composer and renowned sweet tooth, Chad Lawson, the hit podcast ‘Calm it Down‘ has been with me for years. I have to confess that lately I’ve turned to some of the broadcasts I had already listened to.

Not familiar with ‘Calm it Down‘?

Clam it Down’ is a prestigious podcast created by award-winning Steinway Artist and composer, Chad Lawson. Lawson has released numerous number one recordings including his most recent release, You Finally Knew (Decca Records/Universal), recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.

He began the podcast, Calm it Down, after receiving countless emails from listeners detailing how his music is helping them calm their anxieties and emotional struggles. “I simply had to do something.” he states. “I wanted to go deeper in trying to help others in their most difficult times of life.

New episodes are every Tuesday at calmitdownpodcast.com as well as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Audible, iHeart and everywhere else where podcasts are available.

The podcast

From the first listen, an aura of peace envelops the listener. The relaxed atmosphere established by the pianist, accompanied by the music that Lawson himself has composed, help to create the perfect context to absorb and internalize the stories and tips that the pianist tells.

About the episodes, they are perfectly structured in the production and the sound quality is more than perfect.

In the different episodes, Chad Lawson invites you to breathe, to meditate on the day to day, on the problems and to see complex situations from a positive and kind point of view. Each episode deals with a different theme, but always looking for the same goal, the well-being of the listener, to take him away from worries and fears.

For how it is thought, for how it is made and for the importance in terms of Wellbeing, ‘Calm it Down’ is undoubtedly one of the podcasts that should always be in the Top on digital platforms.

Please, take care of yourself and love yourself.

… And Remember this: YOU ARE NOT ALONE
